This is an old 1950s pressed paper Christmas nativity decoration, marked Western Germany. It is approximately 13" tall (the center piece is tallest) and 18-1/2" wide when fully opened. it has edge wear and some color loss - you can see the condition in the pictures better than I can describe. A classic example of German folk art from the days before reunification and a charming Christmas nativity scene with angels. It is a triptych style with sides that fold and it stands nicely and folds to be put away. Most of the latticework is in good condition but this is an itricate piece that should be stored carefully. This is a nice one - the best I have ever had. Please look at all the pictures as they are a large part of the description. This is being sold as is. Price of shipping includes insurance, and all precautions will bet taken in shipping.
